Norman Greenbaum was a witty songwriter with slightly absurd tunes. The collection includes “Spirit In The Sky,” his follow-up hit "Canned Ham" and "Skyline." The CD also features several tracks by Dr. West's Medicine Show & Junk Band; including the 1966 hit "The Eggplant That Ate Chicago," as well as the previously unreleased 1977 recording, "The Day They Sold Beer in Church."
